You should have values
where to enter these values
run tcd OB53 and enter name of chart of accounts
On the following screen you set up so called retained earning account for P&L accounts
remember: P&L accounts are closed at year and against retained earning account
PS: In SAP classic GL we had account solution instead of ledger solution in nGL.
If you show accounting principles in different accounts, you have to close this against a
separate retained earning account.
Although we have nGL solution with ledgers. showing different accounting principles can still
be done with accounts. Approach one and approach two are "equal".
SAP does not say one is better than the other.
